Earlier this year, we completed the latest addition to the Ashford Unframed mural trail in collaboration with London-based artist, illustrator and animator Will Barras.

Known for his distinctive visual language, characterised by fluid perspectives, expressive gestural lines and a strong sense of movement, Barras' work often explores the relationship between people, place and energy. His dynamic style made him a natural choice for a project celebrating Ashford's identity.

Having wanted to collaborate with Barras for some time, this project provided the perfect opportunity. The brief was to create a mural that celebrates Ashford's energy, movement and connections, while responding to ideas gathered through community engagement.

While hand-painted murals remain at the heart of many projects, vinyl graphics can play an equally important role in transforming a space. From intricate stencil details and precision-applied typography to large-scale installations and temporary artwork, vinyl offers a flexible solution where paint may not always be the right fit.

Ceiling murals have a unique ability to completely reshape how a space feels. Often overlooked, the “fifth wall” can become a focal point that adds atmosphere, movement, and identity to an interior.

Large-scale murals and site-specific artworks have become a central part of how hospitality venues define their identity; shaping the atmosphere guests walk into, and the memories they leave with.

In 2025, The London Mural Company returned to Newcastle’s Quayside to deliver another ambitious large-scale ground mural, Go with the Flow, commissioned by NE1 and curated by UNIT44 Gallery.

For Barbour’s latest Heritage Tartan launch 2025, the brief was simple in idea but ambitious in execution: to bring the spirit of the Scottish Highlands into the heart of London.

Tucked just off Leadenhall Street, where the pace of the City rarely slows, a new mural quietly introduces a different rhythm. May Day, a large-scale hand-painted work by artist Lothar Götz, now occupies a prominent wall at 40 Leadenhall, offering a moment of colour, movement and pause within one of London’s busiest districts.

Last year marked ten years of The London Mural Company - a decade of painting walls, shaping spaces, and creating large-scale artistic work across the city and beyond.

To mark the anniversary, we revisited our visual identity. Our original logo was rooted in the language of traditional craft marks, hand-painted signwriting, and emblem-style design. It reflected our beginnings as painters and our early desire to communicate skill, trust, and permanence.

2025 was a year shaped by movement, collaboration and colour for us at The London Mural Company. From live events to landmark buildings and expansive public spaces, each project offered a different way to explore how hand‑painted murals can transform environments and connect people with their environment.

The first project of the year is always an exciting one - and for The London Mural Company, 2025 began with a burst of colour, creativity, and youthful energy. We were commissioned by EE to design and install a bespoke mural for their annual EE Learn Live event, hosted at the iconic White Rabbit Studios in Shoreditch, London.
