The first project of the year is always an exciting one, and for The London Mural Company, 2025 began with a burst of colour, creativity, and youthful energy. We were commissioned by Havas Play on behalf of EE to design and install a bespoke mural for their annual EE Learn Live event, hosted at the iconic White Rabbit Studios in Shoreditch, London.
The result was a vibrant, large-scale mural that brought the venue to life and helped set the tone for a day of inspiration, workshops, and future-focused creativity for young people.
Bringing Creativity to a Creative Space
White Rabbit Studios is known for its versatile workshop spaces, arched architecture, and endless branding opportunities - the perfect canvas for artwork of all sizes. With its mix of industrial textures and contemporary design, the venue provided the ideal backdrop for a hand-painted mural that would welcome hundreds of students, educators, and industry creators.
Our design process always begins with research and brand understanding. For EE’s event, this meant exploring:
● The bright, modern EE colour palette
● The energy and excitement of Learn Live
● The purpose of the event - inspiring young people to explore future careers
● The spatial layout of White Rabbit Studios and how people would interact with the mural
The final artwork incorporated bold imagery and flowing graphic elements to mirror the event’s themes of connectivity, possibility, and creativity. The design stretched across the large exterior feature wall, transforming the space into a vibrant backdrop for photo opportunities throughout the day.
Hand-Painted Craftsmanship for a Digital-Age Event
Although EE Learn Live is a technology-focused event, Havas Play wanted to incorporate the idea of using something tactile and analogue - a hand-painted mural - to ground the experience.
Our team spent several days on-site at White Rabbit Studios, mapping the design, layering colours, and perfecting the details that make a large wall mural feel alive. The artwork served as both a visual anchor and a storytelling device, adding atmosphere to the venue while supporting the branding of the event..
