Commissioned by Poplar Harca and Eco World , we worked closely with Jan Kattein Architects to develop and implement a creative strategy to revive the high street.

We were employed to help create and install a series of designs that reflected and celebrated the area’s legacy of garment manufacture, a selection of patterns were collected from across the local community and were re-interpret across the 26 buildings of Aberfeldy Street.

With the theme inspired by the Bangladeshi kantha radition of recycling old textiles to create something new, we worked closely with the local community and residents to collect patterns and motifs to interpret across the space. the project used just over 800 litres of paint and over 300 spray cans, taking just under six weeks to complete painting.
